After graduation, I attended McKenzie Business School. I later went to work in Chattanooga for a doctor, where I met my husband (he was a patient.) We were married after knowing each other for two and a half months, and we will have been married for almost forty-four years. We moved to El Paso, Texas in 1966; and I went to work for J. C. Penny, shortly thereafter. I worked for J. C. Penny's for thirty-seven years as an office supervisor. When the store closed in 2004, I retired. We have one
daughter, Denise Leigh, and two grandsons. Brandon is fourteen and
Chance is nine. They live in Midland, Texas where Denise is
attending college; and she will graduate in December 2008 as a teacher. |
