A brief summary of 40+ years follows:   

After graduating from Tyner, I attended Tennessee Technological University and graduated with a B.S. degree in History and a commission in the Army.   I spent the next 24 years in the Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.   I married my wife Rachel in 1970 and we have two sons, Andy and Ed.    I got an M.A. in Management from Webster University along the way.  Rachel is a teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Deaf Education  and a Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist.  

Andy is a Supply Officer in the Navy.   He has a B.A. in Business Management and the Navy is sending him to get his Masters in Business/Inventory Management in May.  He married his wife, Kathy, in March 1997 and has a 3 year old son, Jamie.  Kathy has a degree in Interior Decoration.  Ed has a B.S. in Organismal Biology and is a Respiratory Therapist.   He heads the neonatal emergency unit in a hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C.    His patients are basically all premature babies.

After retiring from the Army I spent 8 years at the J.C. Penney
Catalog Distribution Center in Kansas City, KS. as head of their security unit.   In August 1997 Rachel and I moved to Tucson, Arizona.   She is teaching and I am working for Caseworks Furniture Manufacturing.
